About Us

Tattle-Trail LLC was formed in 2006 by a group of engineers who spent 97 combined years developing kidney dialysis instrumentation for several major health care corporations. In their spare time, they raced a powerboat and trailered it over 350,000 miles behind a motorhome to various race sights in North America.

Every trip was an adventure and the team experienced almost every trailering failure imaginable. Being engineers, they felt there had to be a better method to determine if something was going wrong with the trailer than relying on fellow drivers franticly waving to alert them of a problem. On one particularly problematic trip home, the idea for Tattle-Trail was born.

After discussing the idea with other RVers, the group was convinced that there was a significant market opportunity for a trailer monitoring system. Applying the skills that they learned in the medical equipment market, the group made and tested several prototypes and refined them over the next two years.

Finally, with the product ready to manufacture, a business team was assembled and a dedicated manufacturing facility obtained. Tattle-Trail LLC was born and made operational in July, 2006. The company is now producing Tattle-Trail systems and currently is expanding both its dealer and direct sales networks. As with most entrepreneurial organizations, new product ideas are always welcome!
